Cookie and Local Storage Notice

Effective July 11, 2026

Our short answer

Cascade Virtual does not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies, or analytics cookies on its public website. Because there are no optional tracking cookies to accept, we do not display a cookie-consent banner.

Essential browser storage

The staff Back Office may use browser local storage to retain the Supabase authentication session after an authorized staff member signs in. This is essential to keep that session working and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Interface preferences may also be stored locally when a feature requires them.

Portal storage

The CXV Portal stores settings, an in-progress flight buffer, and an encrypted authentication session on the member’s Windows computer. The session is protected for the current Windows user. Local flight data is retained until submitted or discarded, helping prevent the loss of a flight if the application closes unexpectedly.

Third-party requests

The site may request resources or data from Netlify, Supabase, Google Fonts, Discord, or download endpoints. Those providers receive ordinary network information such as IP address, browser details, and request time. Following an external link may allow the destination to use cookies under its own policy.

Managing stored data

You can clear site data through your browser settings. Signing out of the Portal removes its saved authentication session; uninstalling or clearing the Portal data directory removes local settings and unfinished-flight data. Clearing essential storage may sign you out or reset preferences.
